Kirsty has over 12 years’ experience in the non for profit sector and has worked for some of the UK’s best known charities. She has held a variety of leadership roles across the communications, marketing and fundraising fields. Currently she is Head of Strategic Marketing at Diabetes UK.. In this role she is accountable developing and delivering for the charity’s marketing strategy to enable it to meet its charitable objectives and to build long-term relationships with supporters. Previously she was responsible for leading a team of fundraisers to raise over £25 million annually.
Kirsty lives in Langford Village with her husband and two young daughters, having moved to Bicester from London 3 years ago. Kirsty feels it is vital for the community and for all of our children, that Bicester benefits from strong local schools and is looking forward to supporting the continued success of both Glory Farm and the Cooper School. Whilst neither of her daughters are yet of school-age, they are likely to attend the Cooper School when the time comes. She hopes her appointment as director is the start of a long relationship with the Bicester Learning Academy.
